For players looking for a competitive and developmental experience in addition to recreational softball, the NC Rams 9U Town Travel program offers an opportunity for additional development and competition and an introduction to Travel softball.

Tyouts are open to players born in 2012 or 2013 who are in grades 3 or 4 for the 2021-22 school year.  Registration for tryouts will close on 1/23/22.

The program will run from mid-April through the end of July, with an emphasis on a competitive summer season.  Spring (mid-April through mid-June) will be a light season, likely one weekend event per week, mostly practices with the possibility of a small number of games.  Summer (late June through end of July) will have 2-4 events most weeks, likely including one tournament. 

Players are required to play in the New Canaan Softball recreational league in the spring season.

Cost will be $400 per player, plus a cost for rec participation in the spring season and a cost for uniforms.  Uniform costs will be about $150, and we expect players will use the same uniforms in future seasons if they continue to play Travel softball in subsequent seasons.
