The NC Rams 14U Town Travel Program is for players looking for a more intensive and competitive level of softball while still allowing for flexibility to participate in additional sports/activities throughout the year. Our program offers an increased level of skill development and an opportunity to travel further distances to face more intense competition throughout Connecticut as well as in neighboring states, including multiple tournaments, some of which may require overnight accommodations. Beginning in early September and running through the end of July, Town Travel offers a year-round team environment. The fall, spring and summer season will consist of practices, games and tournaments with an emphasis on competition in the spring and summer. The winter season will provide players with the opportunity for indoor workouts and/or clinics, as well as an indoor tournament. Players in the 14U Travel program will also play in the New Canaan Softball recreational program for the spring season.

Our NC Rams 14U Town Travel program is led by a team of experienced New Canaan Softball coaches, and the program focuses on building skills, leadership, and relationships among the players, with the hope that many of them will continue to play together in high school. We will communicate an exact cost after tryouts because it depends in part on the number of players on the team, but we expect a cost in the range of $1,600-$1,800 per player for the full year, which includes the cost for participation in New Canaan Softball’s recreational program in the spring season. Uniform fees are not included in the cost.
